We are pleased to announce the publication of the Codified Interregional Non-Formal Learning Program for Young Social Entrepreneurs, a comprehensive document that captures the outcomes, key learnings, and practical insights from an interregional learning initiative implemented across the V4 countries and the Western Balkans.
The publication is based on a hybrid learning journey that combined an intensive in-person interregional bootcamp with a structured series of online workshops. The program brought together young social entrepreneurs, youth organizations, facilitators, and ecosystem actors from Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, creating a shared learning space grounded in collaboration, peer exchange, and experiential learning.
Developed and implemented by partner organizations within the Social Impact Award Network, the initiative was designed as an additional layer of learning and cooperation on top of national Social Impact Award programs. This interregional dimension enabled deeper peer learning between countries working within different ecosystem realities, while strengthening cross-border collaboration among young changemakers and youth-support organizations.
Rather than focusing solely on program outcomes, the publication documents the full learning process – including partnership structures, program design logic, facilitation approaches, communication strategies, and evaluation insights. It reflects on both successes and challenges, offering a transparent overview of key decision points and trade-offs that shaped the program.
Designed as a practical and adaptable resource, the publication aims to support youth organizations, educators, incubators, and other stakeholders interested in developing high-quality interregional non-formal learning programs in the fields of youth entrepreneurship and social innovation. It emphasizes transferable design principles over fixed models, allowing future implementers to adapt the approach to different cultural, institutional, and regional contexts.
Project financed by the Government of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
