• Centar za kreativno razmišljanje “Kliker”

Have you noticed that educational system is not fully preparing kids to meet needs of modern society? Today’s world is changing fast and unpredictably and because of that we need to teach children skills of creative thinking and problem solving. Modern technologies can help us very much in that but they are not used enough in education and they are generally available to privileged, talented or older kids. We have solution for that. In center for creative thinking “Kliker” we will teach programming fundamentals to school children but in the interactive way by directing them into creation of applications and games and only after that using them. This way we will enable development of their cognitive and logical abilities. We would direct them to science, technology, IT as definite occupations of the future or essencial skills for numerous other occupations. Workshops are based on pragraming platform “Scratch” that was created on Masachusets institute of technology. With help of “Scratch” development of applications and video games is easy as stacking Lego. This would be pioneer project in Serbia but we would follow models from other developed countries which incorporated similar programs to their educational systems. Integral part of the project will be internet portal on which all materials and instructions will be available to public use because our goal is to popularize this way of education in Serbia.

I agree! This is original idea with user friendly approach, thus, there is no such a project in Serbia, probably also in the whole Western Balkans region.

I think that this is brilliant, speaking as a father .Computers are the future and children should learn about them from the early ages, especially in this frendly environment. If this project start I will surely look to send my children .
