Green roofs – „Zeleni krovovi“ is an idea which would implement green oasis on flat roof tops. The main idea of „Zeleni krovovi“ is to embed natural environment which includes green carpets, trees and flowers into urban city environment. Green roofs or green gardens provide users numerous advantages, such as space for relaxation and recreation as well as possibility for residents to spend quality time in natural environment and all that in just few steps away from their apartment. At the same time, green oasis would solve several ecological issues such as minimizing the urban heat-island effect, air filtration and reducing energy consumption during summer periods.
